We are specialist consultants in helping our clients maintain, build and monitor their security and IT Operations. Our team of consultants provide professional services from advisory through to engineering roles, as well as support and managed services.

 

Over the past months we have invested in implementing effort to generate content to explain what we do and how, to our clients existing and new. This evolvement continues to drive and generate leads and the opportunity to cultivate them.

What we’re looking for

Reporting to the Business Development Director, this role will be responsible for building and managing relationships with existing and new clients. You will engage with this audience using a range of channels including phone, email, Linkedin and face-to-face meetings. The role requires curiosity and inquisitiveness, learning what is important to our customers, and how the Apto value proposition may relate to their challenges. You will work to create a pipeline of opportunity, engaging with other Apto employees, including the Business Development Director, Head of Engineering and consultancy team to create a proposition to clients.

This role would suit a graduate who has a desire to develop a career in business development within a technology consultancy business

  • Specific activities include:

    Working closely with marketing to ensure that we have a holistic approach to how we are communicating with our customers

    Engage customers via phone, linkedin, email or face to face meetings to understand their current business situations. You will use Apto’s value proposition to know the areas of interest to discuss with a customer and where Apto can potentially help.

    Nurture relationships with a range of stakeholders across new and existing customers.

    Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities

    Work with internal stakeholders as part of a team to define, and ultimately sell, a proposition to a customer.

    Ensure that Apto CRM is kept up to date

  • Key skills required for the job include:

    A natural curiosity to want to talk to people and businesses to understand their business challenges

    a methodical, organised approach to be able to coordinate a high volume of communications
